Linebacker

The linebacker play in the defensive. He must watch the play of the quarterback and make a choice. For exemple, if the quarterback does a pass, the linebacker must tackle the QB or cover a receiver. If the quarterback give the ball to the running back, the linebacker must stop his run. The linebacker is generally a fast and strong player. There is normally two,three or four linebackers depending the defensive formation.

Running back

The running back is the person who run with the ball in the offensive. There are usually one or two running backs on the field depending on the offensive formation. His job is to do the most yards he cans on his play. There are two types of running back. The first one is the fullback. The fullback is generally a heavy person because he must block his opponents to facilitate the run of the running back. Depending the play, the fullback can also block his opponents to protect the quarterback. The second type is the running back whose job is to follow the fullback ( because he blocks opponents) and do the most yards possible.

The receivers are the person in the offensive who catch the ball from the quarterback. To be a good receiver, you need to run very fast and to make feints with ability because your job is to deliver you from the corners* to receive a pass. You also need to have ability to catch the ball when you run and when you are at 10-35 yards approximately.

*Corner: A corner it's a player of defensive line and his job is to watch the receivers because he doesn't want that the receiver catch the ball.

 In my opinion, the quarterback is the main player in the offensive because he's like the source of the game. He says the play to other players in his team and he does it. For exemple, if the play it's a pass, the QB (QuarterBack) will pass the ball to his receivers, or if it's a run, he will give the ball to his running back. The football is first, a team sport because without other players, the QB can do nothing.
